I currently use the IMPORTXML Google Sheet formula to go through a tables on different websites to locate x-dividend dates and earnings dates. It's a clunky workaround at best. Would love these attributes/features to be added to the extension.

We also need to know if the earnings are reported before or after market close on the earnings date.

Fully agree. In my python code, I use the yfinance library to get earnings dates. Would be a great feature if Market Data adds next earnings and ex-div dates as well as other dividend payment details.

I too am having to scrape the websites of ETF sponsors to pull upcoming ex-dividend dates. Some sponsors, such as Vanguard, do have unpublished JSON APIs that return this data, but obviously that's fragile, and accessing that information in a context other than viewing their website might even be considered a violation of their acceptable use policies. It would be nicer to have one uniform interface through Market Data to retrieve past and future distribution dates, including record dates, ex-dividend dates, and payment dates, as well as the amount of each distribution per share.

Can be a huge feature especially earnings dates . I also use importxml to scalp from websites but sometimes they block me. Most credible source is www.estimize.com but it is hard to scalp.
